Placenta burial kit diy

Placenta burial kit- a beautiful way to honour and give your placenta back to the earth. By burying your placenta, it allows a plant, fruit tree or flower to blossom and use the nutrients of your placenta to grow. Over time watching this beautiful plant grow along side your child. 
Throughout history, if a society has not consumed their placenta, they have at the very least acknowledged that the placenta is an organ containing much power and they have treated it with awe and respect. Returning the placenta to Mamma Earth is very common ritual the world over. 
 
Many cultures believe that burying the placenta protects the health of the baby, others believe it brings good luck. Many families choose to bury their child’s placenta under a tree. The placenta can be buried whole (It’s a good idea to give it a few weeks in the earth on its own before planting a tree over the top as it is so full of potent goodies) or one can also bury the dehydrated powder.
 
 
What is included in your kit?
Plant-based, containing zero poly plastic sachet to place your placenta into.

Fully biodegradable packaging, breaking down without any harmful micro-plastics or residues
Compostable and recyclable sticker to write a personalised message on and place onto your sachet before planting. 
 
Instructions:
Take your placenta burial kit in your hospital bag or have at home ready for your birth. 
Once the placenta is born and has been successfully inspected, place into the sachet and enclose. (midwife/ OB) can do this for you!!
Take home and place into the freezer until ready to plant your organ. 
Once ready to plant, organise a beautiful pot and plant/flowering tree or fruit tree of choice.
Place placenta midway of the pot and a layer of soil and then plant.
If planting straight into the ground, dig your hole of size required to fit tree/plant and place placenta at the bottom of hole and placenta tree and soil over the top of it.
Water regularly or as plant needs/recommends for the type of plant/tree.
Watch your plant flourish as your child grows!
